Subscription Options for Access to SPE Papers
SPE is a participating member in OnePetro (www.onepetro.org) – a multi-society library. Subscriptions access to SPE papers is now available by purchasing a OnePetro subscription. In addition to accessing SPE papers, subscribers will have access to papers from eight other industry organizations, including the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC).
The value of a OnePetro subscription will increase over time as technical documents available to the online library grow, not only as participating organizations add new documents, but as new organizations join OnePetro.
OnePetro offers three types of subscriptions: corporate, academic and individual. All provide an economic alternative to purchasing papers separately. For companies in countries where payment with a credit card in USD is difficult, corporate subscriptions offer an easy method for allowing employees access to SPE papers.
Subscription Options
Packaged Downloads
Subscribers prepay for a set number of articles that can be used to download any journal or conference paper from any of OnePetro participating societies. Researchers enjoy immediate online delivery of the document, with significant savings compared to standard single-article prices. Packaged downloads are available in various denominations for companies, universities or individuals. Pre-paid downloads are valid for the 1 year term of the subscription.
Corporate Unlimited Access
The corporate unlimited subscription offers a simple way for large and growing organizations to allow easy access to articles on OnePetro. With this subscription level users can directly access the full PDF of the paper they are looking for from the search results. Subscriptions are based on a calendar year, so a pro-rated portion of the subscription cost may apply during the first year (depending on date of purchase).
Academic Unlimited Access
OnePetro offers academic tiered pricing for 2009. The model has 3 tiers based on the World Bank country classification. This tiered pricing enables different segments of the academic market to enjoy full access to OnePetro online at rates that are appropriate to their size, need, and likely usage. Subscriptions are based on a calendar year, so a pro-rated portion of the subscription cost may apply during the first year (depending on date of purchase).
